There are multiple trucking job opportunities available in Arkansas for those who meet all Arkansas CDL requirements. Those who are looking to drive commercially must be 18 years old. Applicants are expected to hold a current Class D Driver’s License, and are expected to have a driving record that is considered good or clean.

Those who are looking to apply should work to understand all Arkansas licensing information before approaching the application itself. Those who want to apply will be asked to supply two separate forms of identification. Applicants are also expected to pass a physical before taking any of the tests required.

Arkansas CDL requirements include the written knowledge test. This test will be administered by the state police of Arkansas, and covers a variety of information found in the free Arkansas CDL Manual. The following road test will allow applicants to show their knowledge in basic trucking skills, road driving, and full vehicle inspection.

Arkansas re-licensing information includes the need to renew every four years. Those who have had an expired license for over 1 year will be expected to take the written and driving portions of testing once again.
