Comtrak is home to 400 professional drivers, both Owner Operators and Company drivers. Drivers live throughout our operating area. Mike Bruns, the owner of Comtrak, understands the value of those drivers on the road, each one has Mike's home number to call night or day to make sure they are taken care of. Safety is our top concern, we have set the standard for motor carriers to follow wth our training and compliance programs.

Comtrak offers driving opportunities in the Regional truckload, Regional intermodal, and Local markets. Serving regional and local markets gets our drivers home on weekends and some during the week. On the truckload side, our highest volume lanes are Memphis, Birmingham, Atlanta and Charlotte. We do not serve the Northeast or west of Dallas, this allows our drivers to get home. Our drivers average up to 2500 miles per week and our pay and benefits are competitive.

All tractors are equipped with the HighwayMaster mobile communications system. This provides for electronic dispatch, saving you from waiting in lines for a phone. The system also can function as a cellular phone, giving you and your family piece of mind that they can talk to you in an emergency.
