Furness Trucking

Furness Trucking, with dispatch office and dock, located in Witt, IL., has been in operation since 1986. It was originally started by Joseph Furness as a livestock company existing of one tractor and one trailer. The company, recently given a Satisfactory Rating by the US Federal Department of Transportation (US DOT), has since changed and grown to include 25 power units and 30 trailers

Furness Trucking has all 48 Continental United States operating authority plus Ontario, Canada. All of our equipment is 1999 or newer, with QualComm satellite tracking systems. All units are team operated. We specialize in full truck loads and LTL. The main lanes we service are from the East Coast to California, Arizona, Florida and all points in the Midwest, also from Midwest to California, Arizona, and Florida.

For truck drivers we prefer a two year reefer / road experience minimum.
