Since 1972, when the first truckload was delivered to Des Moines from Chicago by TMC Transportation, we have been proud of our commitment to customer satisfaction. To begin with, we give our drives choices when it comes to compensation. you can choose from a traditional cents-per-mile package or a performance-based program. This option allows drivers to earn up to 48 CPM! Our drivers also have competitive benefit packages, and opportunities for advancement and dedicated routes, depending on the location of your residence.

We also train drivers who do not have previous flatbed experience, and we hire drivers who are fresh out of truck driving school. Our goals is to hire the best drivers and do everything we can do to help them succeed -- starting with the best equipment on the road. Our fleet of black and chrome, late model Peterbilt tractors are proof of our commitment to that.

This program helps those who are transitioning from military to civilian roles the opportunity to draw on their education benefits for up to 18 months while in the apprenticeship phase at TMC.
