Company History: Beginning in 1938 with one trunk and one man, Willis D. Shaw made his first mark on the trucking industry as a solo hauler transporting poultry. Previously known as Willis Shaw Produce, the company hauled millions of chicken from Arkansas to Texas, California and surrounding states. Then with the growth of the frozen food industry, the company decided to acquire interstate authority to operate as a frozen food carrier. The company changed its name to Willis Shaw Frozen Express, Inc in 1958 and has grown into a contract carrier company with revenues over $100 million dollars.

Willis Shaw Express, Inc. is a major motor carrier whose basic business involvement is that of an irregular truckload carrier specializing in the transportation of frozen and refrigerated food products. The company operates into and/or out of the 48 contiguous states with major activity in the Pacific Northwest, Central Midwest, Middle Atlantic, Southwest and West Coast areas. Major markets served include frozen foods, confectionery, fresh and/or frozen meats and discount store merchandise.

WSE's parent company is Comcar Industries. Headquartered in Auburndale, Florida, Comcar is one of the nation's largest trucking groups with 53 strategically located terminals across the country. With more than 4,000 power units, and 6,500 associates, Comcar has the resources and ability to transport any commodity, anywhere, fulfilling the motto, "Service Always -- All Ways."
